Session 1 - 'sounds'
The main objective of this session was to engage students with sounds made with ordinary objects and more conventional percussion instruments.

Session 2 - 'textures'
The main objective of this session was to engage students with making print images that we can convert into sound. Print making is messy and fun - the link between pattern and sound/music is hopefully made.
The students made the following prints:

Session 3 - 'patterns'
The main objective of this session was to engage students with making patterns that can be converted into music. Dabbing on a grid is similar to adding notes to a manuscript; punching holes in music box cards help to develop fine motor skills.

Session 4 - 'playing'
The main objective of this session was to engage students with playing/initiating sound. Pupils played the Talking Tiles in place of guitar for our welcome-song, then used the tiles to collect recordings of themselves playing the outside instruments.
