at Barbican's Sound Unbound 2017

Deisgned by ICMUS founder and Guildhall Professor Mike Roberts, built by Seth Scott and composed/installed in collaboration with students of the Guildhall School's Electronic Music Studios.
Revolution 360
These tracks are stereo mixes of the main piece which unpacks nearly 360 years of classical music history in a collage of 'stuck' record grooves. Two versions can be heard - the full compilation of all 24 gramophones and a more focused quintet version (representing 1 fountain).
For those interested in the detailed 'composition' brief for this piece, a pdf of the collaborative process is included for download. (Please bear in mind that this is the original brief as distributed to students of EMS in March 17 - the exact character of the piece has evolved as part of the process of completion.

Student Pieces
These tracks are stereo mixes of the student pieces that play between the main 'Revolution 360' renditions.
In the installation, each of these pieces plays at a set time every hour - this time is indicated in the title of the tracks.
They are composed by students of the Electronic Music Studios, Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
